Production #1 Over the River Through the Woods

May 23, 2019 - May 31, 2019

THE STORY: Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey. His parents retired and moved to Florida. That doesn’t mean his family isn’t still in Jersey. In fact, he sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is routine until he has to tell them that he’s been offered a dream job. The job he’s been waiting for—marketing executive—would take him away from his beloved, but annoying, grandparents. He tells them. The news doesn’t sit so well. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around. How could he betray his family’s love to move to Seattle, for a job, wonder his grandparents? Well, Frank, Aida, Nunzio and Emma do their level best, and that includes bringing to dinner the lovely—and single—Caitlin O’Hare as bait…we won’t give the ending away here. “A hilarious family comedy that is even funnier than his long-running musical revue I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. —BackStage. “Loaded with laughs every step of the way.” —Star-Ledger.

Production #2: Office Hours

Jun 13, 2019 - Jun 21, 2019

Office Hours is a comedic look at how people get by in the modern world. On a Friday afternoon we follow six interrelated story lines set in six different offices in a big city, each unrelated to the next yet somehow connected by small details. This diabolically clever work is divided into six individually titled segments: “The Reporter,” “The Pitch,” “The Agent,” “The Visit,” “The Dismissal,” and “The Analyst.” The play’s 16 characters are all intent on holding their lives together by keeping reality at bay, and the denials are achingly funny. A 200-pound jockey refuses to admit the obvious; a domineering mother insists that she is not authoritarian; an insecure producer rejects the idea that his “original” script about a young Englishman raised by apes to become lord of the jungle just might have been done before. It’s a wild ride with an ending that sends the audience into a collective howl.

Production #3: Mamma Mia!

Jul 11, 2019 - Jul 20, 2019

ABBA’s hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! a guaranteed smash hit for any theatre. A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget!

Production #4: A Man For All Seasons

Aug 1, 2019 - Aug 9, 2019

A Man For All Seasons, Broadway’s Tony Award Winning Show (Best Play) is a tragic historical drama offering a brilliant portrait of Sir Thomas More in his last years as Lord Chancellor of England during the reign of Henry VIII. When Henry fails to obtain papal approval for a divorce from Catherine of Aragon to marry Anne Boleyn, he mandates his subjects to sign an “Act of Supremacy” making him both spiritual and temporal leader of England. Sir Thomas cannot in good conscience comply. Cromwell, Cardinal Wolsey, his family, and the King himself are all unable to convince More otherwise, as he maintains his integrity and belief in silence. Ultimately accused of high treason, this very silence leads the man to his execution, and later his canonization in 1935.
